Want to be there now?

MODERNISME is an architectural project of the VADIM MALTSEV DESIGN & DECOR bureau. It was based on the concept and stylistic decisions of the era of modernism of the early 20th century, as well as impressions of Japan, its temples, traditional gardens, nature, as well as asceticism and simple forms.

Materials and colors are responsible for peace. Architectonics lies in clear forms, the primacy of texture and its harmony with the landscape.

Architectural solutions — one of the directions of the bureau. You can order a project by phone or DM.

But we caught the design of the fireplace by the studio of Eric Schmidt. It is made in the best traditions of French decorative art in a modern interpretation. Always timeless is a Parisian luxe and elegant minimalism! #maltsevinspiration

Thad Hays is noted for light-filled interiors characterized by calm colors, quietude, and elegance. His interiors embrace the period and the modern, significant objects and simple ones, furniture he finds and pieces he designs. Hayes’s rooms resound in meditative understatement but are not afraid of being daring. ⠀

This interior incorporates the spirit of European culture with the energy of New York and connects the epochal and modern. That is why the combination of quality materials, colors, and furniture is maximalistic and gives the apartment a uniquely timeless look. ⠀

Under restaurant

The world’s largest underwater restaurant has opened in Norway. What’s the secret?

Just in a few days after the announcement, “Under” gathered thousands of articles all over the world: such important portals as The Guardian, CNN, Forbes, and many others wrote about it (him — одушевленное). Despite the high prices, all the tables in the new restaurant have already been booked for months in advance. There are almost no free tables for the period from May to September 2019.

In fact, the secret of this wonder lies in its architecture and design. This idea would not have had half of the success if it were not for its magnificent execution. Outside, it resembles a sunken periscope. Space inside makes the feeling of the ocean view more spectacular: a beautiful panoramic window, oak cover and concrete shell, which after some time will turn into a real reef. The warm, welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant instills a sense of thrill and mystery, hinting at the upcoming trip.

This is a great example when architecture and design push forward the business. In the following articles, we will tell you how important the visual presentation of the place and how it helps to achieve success.
